SURELY

Surely in expectation
    before a body
  sunk into my urban
    reading
  in a peopled gathered
  city  ornamented
    with umbrellas
  after the rain
  you grimace
     with a separation
  in  a laughter ring of smoke
from a firmament of  preparation
 before the microphone.
