Sunshine
in     a trembling
  alphabet of music
 from wayward mirrors
of stone faced reaction
trembling notes from the balcony
knotted by an Italian upright
   playing Scarlotti
moving blinders toward
   the avant garde
an unbalanced painter
rises from his self portraits
in a ceremonial visionary
rising in scaled forces
  playing on  a death march
in the shade of myrtles
   by nettles of spring
blood oozes out
in the wounds of the young.
