ON TRISTAN TZARA'S WATCH
Higher than stars
and birds gravity
a new language
of dada
mergers with humanity
as Tristan Tzara
the man in Paris
starts to read,
as if time stops,
and the lives of poets
no longer embarrassed
or surprised by words
in cafes and coffee shops
and no one realizes
a poet revolution
until it occurs.
