ESTABAN VINCENTE'S ART
(1903-2001)

Love his "Collage
with Yellow Blue
and Orange"
the colors sponged
and expunged
moving in its space
from the din and darkness
plunging as in the ambiguous
fluidity from a chilly grey
at his "Fallen Light"
all Vincente's paintings
from the New York School
combine with a gorgeous vista
above an outsourcing of light
through their high images
from the din of canvas
on his careful abstract
expressionist language
to share with us
as in his "Red Field'
intensifies in cobalt blue
shadows and shields
rolling us through its enigmas
from renewed poetic chimeras
and illumined shadows
of Estaban's Vincente's
tone of murmuring night.
