Two pairs
of purring cats
want to play guitar
clearing out a path
between the Gothic wisteria
in the walled garden
not making a sound
by the laundry bags,
were the window to open
spring will sweep in the dawn
to pass its new colors,
a fawn is photographed
by a sixth grader
on her bicycle
there is a peaceful silence
near the woodlands.
