in latitudes of poets
and longitude of musicians
who live on in rumors
from concertos conceived
through entombed mirrors
facing your last reviews
you are comfortable
with a baton,trumpet and drum
waiting in hand
though England has changed
you are inescapable in spirit
faithful to the last note
of the musician's serious band.
