IMPROVISATION #220
VLADIMIR TATLIN
(1885-1953)

With iron, glass steel
   you reveal as an outsider
Vladimir Tatlin
son of a poet and engineer
a directed glider like an insect
      you called the "Letatlin"
 as a Constructivist artist
  and an ingested break away
visionary with a gist for power
  with your desire for
  a tower, you later reveal
 later with a few counter
           or corner reliefs
you install all in experimentation
   knowing of alienation
as it were
 at the source
 in your imagination
  enlarged  in the range
          of an artistic drawing
                 in your estranged
 "Space Station''  encounter
at a range of a new  beliefs
 at a revolutionary hour
for the Russian nation.
