IMPROVISATION #160
( WILLEM De KOONING'S TIME
(1904-1997)

Capturing time
  of euphoria
  in your lithographs
         as a poet conveys
   his open door language
depositing paragraphs
  of ecstatic    paintings
     as in ''Sting Ray"
  in tense and time
over the museum floor
 of  Willem de Kooning's
 combing out a dreaming
    wide juxtaposition
of color representations
on the sidelines
   from recreations  (at black lines)
      of our  camera
in transfer  to paper staffs
   of undefined presences
    as we view the puncture
  at his art's patina's juncture
drawing us in a dualism
when poised to stop
  in at your metallic workshop
we are in a living magnetic
  performance of  your Zen chance
at play at a Noh theater
with an abstract
                 prism's spontaneity
in our influential parts
     performed  in chromatic prisms
at the influence    of Japanese art
beyond nature's
''Parkway" pictures
eased along the beach and rail
      caressed from sailing shadows
as if at a phallic unveiling apocalypse
calls into us all into question
from a kinetic cry at features
on a feather bed dream
 at your sleep house
in a pastiche of "Mickey Mouse"
as all notations collapse
of  a futuristic retinue
   from a shaping stone slab
of abstract fragmentation
in  the pretense of references
 from coniditioned frames
 as you journey
 as in "Weekend
at Mr. and Mrs. Krisher"
or in the rigors  of Long Island
  from  the Clam Digger",
   after a jazz -aged execution
   into a print     finishing
after your cut ups
  and outing humanity's creatures
returning to a cloudy landscape
  in your  exuberant  paint studio
 from a strident luxuriant
  shadow of craft.
