IMPROVISATION#158
(JOAN MIRO'S TIME
1893-1983)
Abstraction
at the very center of color
in contradiction to the fiction
and figures of the past
to our modernist satisfaction
in a panache of drawing in
Joan Miro's time
where dada has no illustration
from nudes begun
in a post war canvas pigmentation
from still lives in interludes
at any particular illustration
in a hour's genre of gesture
from a continuing culture
some liked to mirrors
or out of door self portraits
without excommunication
or harassment of perspective
at a welcoming coming of age
without inquisition
to be embarrassed
in the wealth of experience
and experimentation
from Barcelona to Paris.
