On cable T.V.
24/7
 with  their glasses off
or spectacles on
they do not wish to report
  on any miracles,rather
 they speak political jargon
of the petty things,
 with earthly crime tolls
rising
then their bell rings
or when putting away souls
in jail or prison bars
or reporting on snow
 or hail
or an accident of loss
of man or beast
at least in the Sixties
 there were artistic happenings
 for this Beat poet
or color field artists
who left their attics or lofts
 putting words of graffiti
to deposit on city walls
 with a message of peace
on helicopters
  up to the heavenly stars.
